Teacher recruitment video to inspire
A teacher recruitment video for Reach Academy that doesn’t feel like one.


The Brief
Produce a fun, candid and personable video to encourage teachers to apply to Reach Academy, with a strong focus on relationships and community.The aim was to create something that felt genuine and engaging, rather than a typical, overly polished recruitment video.

How Did We Do It?
We started by getting to know Reach Academy and what makes the school stand out. Working closely with the team helped us shape a clear direction and understand how to get the most out of each interview - making sure the final video reflected the culture of the school, not just the role itself.
Filming took place over two days. On day one, we focused on interviews with staff members, including the CEO and Headteachers, capturing their experiences and perspectives.
We then used these interviews to guide the second day of filming, focusing on B-roll that brought those stories to life and showcased the school’s environment, relationships and day-to-day atmosphere.
On set, everything was kept relaxed and natural to help people feel comfortable on camera, which made a big difference in getting more genuine, engaging responses.

The Results
The final video captures the personality of Reach Academy from the very start.
We opened with an outtake montage, using behind-the-scenes moments and natural interactions to immediately establish a candid and approachable tone.
This was paired with a pacey, dynamic soundtrack to keep the video engaging throughout.
The final piece was brought together with an animated end card featuring the school’s logo and campaign tagline #TeachAtReach, reinforcing the message and tying everything together.
The video is designed to give potential applicants a genuine sense of what it’s like to be part of Reach - which is exactly what helps it stand out.
